SUBJ: WEEKLY STATUS REPORT
1. Per your request, the following is a listing of active constables for the week of XXXXXXXXXX:
Ahmet: Inspector Yasna: Inspector Mark Traceius: Detective:Corporal Tavar: Detective:Private Rockfrug: Detective:Private Roneer: Detective:Private
2. On, or about, , the constables assigned to Runegate: Province of Sartar, were released from their duties to particpate in religious duties in XXXXXXXXXXX. They accomplished their duties and returned to Runegate.
3. Shortly after their return to Runegate the lunar garrison commander was replaced a Yelmie Sun Lord. Immediately upon his taking over command of the garrison he called the constables into his office. He issued numerous orders in this meeting, but the most important was this:
Arrest and apprehend the one hundred (100) Orlanthi Rebels responsible for poisoning the Lunar garrison in Runegate.
Additionally, the new garrison commander required the constables uphold the belief that honesty and justice be their bye word.
This order caused much consternation amoung the constables. It was their belief that the poisoning was caused by a number of Tarshite Exciles. They believed this particular case was solved a month before when they captured and put to death the men responsible for the crime. The two orders given to them were contradicting each other.
4. Inspector Yasna took it upon herself to ingratiate herself to the new commander. She managed to convince him that assigning her to his council was a good idea, thus she became a councilwoman of the Yelmie Garrison Commander. She managed to convince the other councilmembers that Orlanthi Rebels were NOT responsible for the poisoning.
Each morning the garrison commander had a staff meeting. During one of these staff meetings he got the idea that there was a beautiful Chalana Arroy Priestess in the area and that there was a troublemaking Orlanthi Runelord causing problems. He gave the following orders:
5. The party left to retrieve the priestess. One their way they uncovered a number of sheep walking around without anyone tending them. Further investiation uncovered a nearby house with a family massacred. It was uncovered that Broos must have been responsible for this death. It was deteremined that finding and removing these broos would be in the best interest of the Empire.
The constables were unable to track the broos due to the large number of tracks entering and leaving the area. The constables located a neighbors house about 30 minutes from the crime scene. They approached the house when they discovered the household members had armed themselves with bows and other weaponary. From a distance, one of the constables spoke with someone in the home. It was discovered that the broos had been near the house and had left a few hours before. It was further discovered the direction in which the broos left. From this point the constables were able to track the broos.
6. For a number of hours the constables followed the tracks of the broos. Eventually they caught up with the broos and proceeded to plan an attack. Detective:Corporal Traceius formulated a simple battle plan which was followed, with one exception. Private Roneer ignored a legal order issued by Corporal Traceius. Attached please find the desciplinary action form.
Dispite the actions of Roneer, the attack went flawlessly. Corporal Traceius killed three broos, Private Rockfrug killed a broo, and the rest of the party dispatched the other four.
Shortly after the fight, a number of Sartarite citizens approached the area of combat. It was apparent that they were there to deal with the broos. After seeing the broos dead, the Sartarite citizens left the area.
7. The constables finally arrived at the temple of Chalana Arroy. They convinced the priestess to return to Runegate with them. Unfortunately, since there was a broo attack she had duties to attend to while returning to Runegate.
The constables eventually returned to Runegate with the priestess. Due to her healing practices, she was not suitable for an audience with the commander. He eventually saw her and was very disappointed.
8. The constables also posted a number of signs proclaiming a challenge from the Yelmie commander. They went to Boldhome to spread the word and eventually an Orlanthi 'Champion' took the commander up on his challenge.
The insuing (sp) combat proved the Yelmie better. He vanquished his opponent in 3 blows. The Yelmie wanted a better Orlanthi Champion, but none had shown up.
9. While at Boldhome, the constables discovered the whereabouts of their lost compatriot. He was sent into slavery. Detective:Corporal Traceius knew someone who might be able to get the lost friend back.
