Human Feudal Society: In order to support the most efficient method of warfare, the heavily armored knight, we must have each village provide a knight to fight our enemies. The nobility prevented the chaos of the post-Empire period. No one wishes to return to the chaos and death of times past. Chivalric ideals allow the knights to measure themselves against a new set of rules which make our society even better. Unlike the greed of city-states and the unjust slavery of the goblin ways, the people of our lands live happily with gifts of largess of their lord and their support of frequent fairs and tournaments.

Goblin: Others do not understand the threat of the hun like we do. In order to protect the world, we must find unity under the leadership of the Emperor so we can save ourselves and the world from hun destruction. By following the experience of our grandmothers, our society can make better decisions than the the individualistic human knight elitists. By having grandmothers work together in our clans, we can follow the richness of our traditions and decisively resolve issues which cannot be resolved in the chaos of civic societies like Melbin or the human Empire.

Newt: We are the most powerful polity left after the ravages of the huns. The prosperity of our city and our ideals survive only through hard work and by opposing the many who are jealous of our success. Our success cannot be found only in our great city, but also in the great ports and cities of the world. Citizens of Melbin can create a new empire, expanding on the financial and trade empire we have now. Our system is better than the feudalism and serfdom of the human societies because we allow all citizens to have a voice in and contribution to government, and freedom to conduct their own affairs. The crushing servitude of humans in the goblin lands and the authoritarianism of the clans prevent freedom for any, except the very few who are enslaved by their outdated culture and traditions.
