Amsele or Amsulae
Character: Goddess of Darkness and the Night, (Deceiver). Daughter of Gotron (Earth pantheon).

Description of Powers:
 
  • Blind
  • Shadow Scout (rumors, scouting, etc.)
  • Demon to Shadow (1): ranged, temporal, nonstackable, reusable. Only works on Darkness Demons. This spell must be cast upon Shade, It turns the Shade into a humanoid monster. The monster produced has the STR and POW of the original Shade. The Shade's HP remain the same and become the Demon's SIZ. It lacks CON, INT, and DEX, moving only at the caster's command and attacking on strike rank 10. Its chance to hit is 25% plus its attack modifier, which can go up by expirience. When the spell expires, the creature turns back into shadow.
  • Create Shadow: (2) Shade to Demon (1): ranged, temporal, nonstackable, reusable. This spell must be cast upon Shade, It turns the Shade into a humanoid monster. The monster produced has the STR and POW of the original Shade. The Shade's HP remain the same and become the Demon's SIZ.   • Voiceless (seal tongue), (1): potence enchant. Used to protect subordinates from inquiry.
  • Summon Dead (to cast spells)
  • Prayer of Parry (1): personal, temporal, stackable, reusable. Up to five targets, caster plus four more. Caster and up to four willing targets all gain the effect the mystic spell, but as a god spell, meaning this spell stacks with the mystic version. No mana is needed to power this spell. Each point is equal to one point of the mystic spell. Example, Prayer of Avoid 3 cast would put Avoid 3 on caster plus up to four targets within range. Caster would have equivalent of Avoid 5 if the caster also cast Avoid 2, other targets would still have Avoid 3 effect unless they also had the Avoid spell on themself. Since the spell is stackable, Prayers from multiple casters on overlapping targets all stack.
  • Master Learn (1): personal, continuous, stackable. Each point provides a one point bonus to the ability (and to all skills related to that ability). Experience is still calculated without the bonus of this spell. Example, two points of Master Learn will make the Learn ability two higher (ie. +2 to +4), but experience rolls are still made based on the base skill.

Description of Powers:
 
  • Attack Soul (1): ranged, temporal, nonstackable, reusable. Enables the target to attack a single chosen target in a form of spirit combat without being discorporate. Normal spirit combat ensues, which the user can break off or resume as many times as desired duirng the duration. Regardless of the outcome, embodied beings may not posess another. If the user forces the victim to zero MPs, the user may steal one divine spell from the victim. The victim loses the spell and the stealer must pay POW equal to one plus the point of the spell and successfully roll ceremony. Attack Soul: If an enemy is reduced to zero MP, its soul is consumed by Clžj and the body may be possessed by the attacker. While the attacker is possessing the victim, Clžj puts a mindless spirit in the attacker's body to maintain the body while the attacker is gone. Later, if the Body is sacrificed in some horrible manner to Clžj (like being eaten by rats, or thrown of a cliff, or dropped in an acid vat, etc.) and a ceremony roll is made:Clžj will give any spell (spirit, divine, or sorcery) the victim had if a successfull summon is made and 2 POW or the POW of the divine spell is also sacrificed to Clžj
  • Clear Sight (1): ranged, temporal, nonstackable, reusable. Enables the target to see more clearly, negating the effect of certain spells and increasing the Perceive of the target by +6. Negated spells include
  • Distraction (1): ranged, instnat, nonstackable, reusable. Target causes one hit on self (50% chance) or nearby ally (50%) with next attack, if Mana is overcome.
  • Guardian (NOT Padding for Sword), something else, Joen has Padding.
  • Boost Avoid (1): touch, temporal, nonstackable, reusable. Skill increases by 5 points for the duration of the spell.
  • Improve Folklore (1): personal, continuous, stackable. Each point provides a two point bonus to the skill. Experience is still calculated without the bonus of this spell. Example, two points of Improve will make the skill effectively four higher (ie. 16 to 20 skill), but experience rolls are still made based on the base skill (16 in this example).
  • Spiritlink (3): personal, temporal, nonstackable, reusable. Allies within 5 meters of the caster are affected by this spell. The total number of people in the spell equals the spell power of the magic protection put on each affected person. The magical protection provided addes to that person's opposed roll during for contests involving PM for spells and spirit combat. The bonus to rolls stays until the spell wears off or dispelled. Example, the caster and four allies are affected by the spell and all get +5 (caster+4) added to their opposed rolls involving Spells or Spirit combat. If one of the protected was attacked by a spirit and reduced to -1 PM, the spell would still be in affect with +5 bonus, and the character would still suffer the concequences of going to -1 spirit.

Description of Powers:
 
  • Mana Shield (Special Absorption): as per normal spell but the Mana are added to the caster's Mana. The Mana over double Spirit are lost and last only as long as the duration is. but the MPs are added to the caster's MPs. The MPs past twice POW are lost and last only as long as the duration is.
  • Bless Spirit (1): at will. This ritual allows a spirit to go to the Land of the Dead. If the spirit is resisting then a MP vs. MP roll must be made, and if successful the target spirit will leave even if unwilling. Works on possessing spirits, Ghosts, and visible spirit plane beings. For one MP and the one round ceremony, the target body and spirit are protected from being turned into undead or being contacted by anyone except as an ancestor.
  • Conjure Dead (1): ritual summon, nonstackable, reusable. This spell summons a spirit from the Land of the Dead. If the name of a specific spirit is known that spirit may be summoned, otherwise a random spirit is conjured. Allows one to talk with the spirit, if the spirit agrees. Mechanic is that a message is sent to the person controlling the character and they can answer or not.
  • Fearshock (one hit to each in area, vs. MP)
  • Protection Slashing (2): ranged, temporal, stackable, reusable. Spell provides a barrier that protects against weapons doing slashing damage. If a crush weapon hits the target, the damage the weapon does is halved before it affects armor. Criticals and special hits have the same affect, but are reduced by this spell. Example, enemy hits for 8 damage with a weapon affected by this spell. If the hit was a critical, spell still halves the damage, but the hit still will havle the AP and still do at least one hit.
  • Darkwall (1): ranged, temporal, stackable, reusable. Spell creates mobile barrier against foes which most distracts them and protects against their blows. Acts as 2 points of Protection and 2 points of Shimmer per point of spell.
  • Trap Spirit (capture unbound)
  • Amplify Spirits (1per, zone MP-attack boost, up to ten, both attack and defend and MP, MP cost is double)

Description of Powers:
 
  • Initmate Bond (Ecstatic Communion)Ecstatic Communion (2): touch, temporal, non-stackable, reuable. If the target is overcome, this spell causes exquisite sensual joy between the caster and the victim. Neither will be capable of action during the first five minutes at least and after that only the caster may do anything for the duration. When cast the victim must try a saving throw of POW+INT or less on d100. If s/he fails, s/he will cooperate fully with the caster during the duration, but not use permanent spells or POW or attempt suicide. Once overcome by this spell, the victim resists with only 1/2 MP afterwards.
  • Embody Mageeza (1): personal, continuous, nonstackable. Spell provides a three point bonus to the Administration skill when used. Experience is still calculated without the bonus of this spell. Example, spell will make the Administration skill effectively 3 higher (ie. 17 to 20 skill), but experience rolls are still made based on the base skill (17 in this example).
  • Bless Birth (person, birth occurs, no birth roll) (1): touch, instant, nonstackable, reusable. This fertility spell increases the birthing potential for each target so blessed. Each birth produces a health offspring or, rarely twins. The spell may only be used on the High Holy Day of the year, and affect only the following year's offspring.
  • Command Darkness Demon (shade)
  • Clubbing (1): ranged, temporal, nonstackable, reusable. Must be cast on a crushing weapon and requires mana to power. The total points of mana added to casting the spell when cast equal the effect. If the mana is greater that current hits (after damage is done, if any) the target being hit is paralyzed and falls unconscious. After a target is finally paralyzed, the weapon looses the spell effect (one use.)

Description of Powers:
 
  • Shadow Cloak (1): ranged, temporal, non-stackable, reusable. Cloaks the target in a shadowy cloak which makes the target more difficult to hit. The effect is like a Shimmer 6 (30% subtracted from the to hit of all foes).
  • Death-Wish (1): ranged, temporal, non-stackable, reusable. The target, if overcome, stops all action and waits to die. The target can roll at the end of every round to see if s/he breaks out of the effect, they must roll less than their Magic bonus (Focus) on a d6.

  • Deathwish (no defend actions)Death-Wish (1): ranged, temporal, non-stackable, reusable. The target, if overcome, stops all action and waits to die. The target can roll at the end of every round to see if s/he breaks out of the effect, the roll being less than INT x 2.
  • Know Karma (Detect Honor)
  • Dread (Panic, no attack or defend action, no attack spells, run)
  • Turn Blow (3): self, duration 10 strike ranks, stackable, reusable. If the caster is struck by a blow or missile weapon while under this spell, any damage penetrating and damaging gives the attacker an equal amount of general HP damage. Armor does not help the attacker nor is there a resistance roll. Even poison and damage increasing spells are carried thru to the attacker. The only defense for the attacker is to have enough Countermagic to block the spell, with boosting (if any).
  • Shadow Cloak (personal, sm. area): Shadow Cloak (1) ranged, temporal, , reusable. Cloaks the target in a shadowy cloak which makes the target more difficult to hit. The effect is like a Shimmer 6 (30% subtracted from the to hit of all foes), but is fully compatible with all spells.
  • Nighteyes (1): ranged, duration one night or 10 hours, nonstackable, reusable. Gives ability to see in darkness (even total darkness.)
