The Crossed Lightning Band has returned to Rimigi. Lord Nasseri has offered huge sums for the team's company to protect the city of Rimigi and disrupt the Band's operations. The city militia has been mobilized and the fight is on.

Adventure Background

In the last six months, the team (with the Ubermensch Kommando) has protected the island of Rimigi and restored order and taxation. The Melbin City Engineers have been able to recruit a quality force from the eager locals and have made good progress on the naval base on the north side of the island. Near the end of the six month contract, the Engineers arrived with transport for the Kommando, and an offer for the team to stay on taking care of the island.

A month has passed and the team reaped great profits from the income, unencumbered by the costs of supporting the Kommando. A new offer was make by Lord Legumo Nasseri, military liaison and overall ranking newt on the island. The offer was to stay and protect Rimigi city with the company the team has built up.

The Threat
Crossed Lightning Band and their Auxiliaries (about 700-800 troops total) landed about a day ago on the northwest part of the island. Their intentions are not clear yet, but Lord Nasseri has reason to believe they are meeting with some local agents to get a background on the island situation. Lord Nasseri also suspects that more Urlhan troops may arrive.

Mission:
Protect the city of Rimigi as much as is reasonably possible and try to prevent the success of the returned Crossed Lightning Band and their Auxiliaries.

Pay for the mission is 200 gold for administation of the island, 500 gold for staying on the island, any taxes that come in, and a significant bonus (500+ gold) if the team's actions prevent the success of the Urlhan mercenaries in disrupting or destroying the naval base construction site.

The mission of the Rocketeer Marine Corp (about 350 troops) is to prevent Signorelli fortress from being captured, and prevent the destruction of the naval base construction site.
