Mahalala Campaign Summary 010318

Ramagi: quiet village and local base

Ramagi: (800) local farming town and a supply base for the Black Line Clan.

1. Situation:
A war has begun with the Four Knives Clan. The Fahafatesana family lands seem to be the target. Initial intel seems to indicate that this may be a battle of attrition or one with limited goals due to the lack of total mobilization by the Four Knives Clan and the lack of allied assistance.

a. Enemy Forces: The enemy forces are not known, but the Lonaka family has mobilized their yeomen and other forces. The Lonaka forces should be conducting the operations in the area of Ramagi. Most Lonaka Yeomen are human farmers using spears and wearing jack or studded leather.

b. Friendly Forces: All surviving elements of the Lambo Action Force are to go on this mission. No other friendly forces will be in the immediate area other than the attached forces in Ramagi.

c. Attachments and Detachments: all the forces at Ramagi are under the command of the Lambo Action Force. These forces include the human town militia of about 75 militia. Commander Sennen Mahalala Miray the Youngest leads the garrison of 25 troops.

2. Mission: Protect the supplies at the Ramagi base until relieved (relief should arrive two months or earlier)

3. Execution:
Chief's Intent: Protect the supplies with the utmost vigor, unless the enemy will be able to take them. If the supplies will be captured, destroy them and withdrawl all surviving forces.

a. Concept of the Operation: Organize the local forces for the protection mission. Cause the most destruction possible of enemy forces in the area. If protection is later not possible due to overwhelming enemy forces, destroy the supplies before withdrawing all surviving forces to Alleni (a town 10 km away).

b. Sub-tasks: Take the sealed orders supplied by the General to Captain Sennen the Younger (youngest brother of the General)

4. Service and Support:
a. General: The supplies at the base are available for use during this mission. Stockpiles in the armory can be issued.
