March 4, 2001)
After success with the first mission, the Lambo Action Squad is promoted to
raise forces and conduct a recon mission into high pass to investigate activity
by knights. Rumors say that a few knights and troops have been building a log
fort south of Attila Nunnery. The Lambo Action Force is to scout and destroy

Characters get a seven week block to select and train their new troops. Each troop reports to individual members of the Lambo Action Force. Preliminary scouts are sent up the pass and return to say the fort is a wooden palisade about half constructed. The camp has several oxen and many draft horses. The camp is at the Green Roof Inn and has about 30 workers, 30 soldiers, and 10 more mounted. All the knights and soldiers have the same shields and are members of the Order of the Mountain, an order of female knights from Critta who owe fealty to Queen Halyi.

Watcher's Briefing:
1. Dangerous Foes: The Fenirive Clan made a move into Apulia a couple generations ago and Marshall Fenirive and his army were soundly outmanuvered, outfought, and outsmartd by Queen Halyi and the knights of Critta.
2. Order of the Mountain: Extremely good fieldcraft, tactics,
organization, and leadership
Do not expect to suprise them or expect any suprise
to be as effective as normal
Be careful of counter-patrols, aggressive scouting,
and counterattacks
Beware of knights on horseback with a lance
3. The Attack
A. Send a single scout to recon the area, use
fieldcraft to cover tracks, take a different path on the way back
B. Camp the main body of troops at least a half day
away during scouting and rest
C. Decide on a plan and rehearse with the troops
beforehand
D. Conduct attack very aggressively, but withdrawl
if initiative is lost
E. Only go back to attack if the second will surely
succeed
F. If first attack fails, withdraw quickly and get
more troops
4. Stay alive, loses need to be minimized unless success is immediately at hand
5. Destroy the fort, building supplies, and builders (if possible)
