Black Sea Region

Entire area is hilly and lightly forested. Areas in the Southeast are part of the Grand Empire, a vast trade-based empire with several metropolises and dozens of other cities.

Atwan Ruins: Vast ruins still filled with danger, magic, treasure, and many different types of strange monsters. The area around the ruins are controlled by the Five Hands of Gugera, but they avoid the perils of the city. Long ago Atwan was the capital of the first human empire, the Atwan River-Lake Empire. The city founded the first trade route to the East and grew strong from the wealth of the land and the trade. The limited population based doomed the empire and after repeated attacks from the inhuman hordes from the Hinterlands, the Empire fell to the Ocalon Empire, the precursor to the Grand Empire.
